Praise Chow

Registered Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Practitioner
Certified in Cerumen Management 

Praise Chow is an experienced audiologist and hearing instrument practitioner with over twenty years of experience in the hearing aid industry working for a non-profit organization. Prior to that, Praise worked with a large Audiology team at Sunnybrook Health Science hospital in Toronto, Ontario alongside some of the top Ear, Nose, and Throat specialists in the country.  She also offered audiology support to school-aged clients in East Vancouver through Vancouver Coastal Health for one year.


Her special interests include medically complex hearing aid fittings, advanced earwax removals, and Tinnitus/Hyperacusis therapy. Praise was trained in Tinnitus Retraining Therapy by Drs. Pawel and Margaret Jastreboff in 2018 and has been supporting clients with Tinnitus and Hyperacusis since then.  She is a clinical instructor at the UBC School of Audiology and Speech Sciences.

Praise is a Registered Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Practitioner in good standing with the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of British Columbia.


She is also member in several professional associations: Speech and Audiology Canada (SAC), Speech and Hearing BC, and the Canadian Academy of Audiology (CAA).


Praise offers services in English, Conversational Cantonese and limited American Sign Language (ASL).

Charles Fontaine

Registered Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Practitioner
Certified in Cerumen Management

Charles Fontaine is an experienced audiologist and hearing instrument practitioner with over eighteen years’ experience in the hearing aid industry, including over 16 years at a non-profit organization.  Before becoming an audiologist, Charles spent six years working for IBM in IT and project management roles.  He also worked part-time as a hospital nursing assistant during his undergraduate university years.


His special interests include medically complex hearing aid fittings, advanced earwax removals, real-ear verification, and specialized fittings such as extended wear (Lyric provider) and bone conduction devices. He is a clinical instructor at the UBC School of Audiology and Speech Sciences and a member of several professional associations: Speech and Audiology Canada (SAC), Speech and Hearing BC, the Canadian Academy of Audiology (CAA), and he is an International Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). He served on the Board of Directors with the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of BC from 2016-2022, as well as a number of committees since 2014; he continues to serve on the Finance and Audit Committee.



Charles is a Registered Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Practitioner in good standing with the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of British Columbia.

Client Care Specialist

Stacey is our assistant and problem-solver extraordinaire. With over 6 years of experience in the hearing healthcare industry and 2 years of American Sign Language (ASL) training, she is ready to greet you with a smile and take care of your needs.


She is very proud to be part of the Elevate Hearing team. Praise and Charles are grateful for her service and dedication.

Stacey offers services in English, Greek and ASL.


Winnie Chan

Client Care Specialist

Winnie Chan is our fabulous assistant when Stacey is away.

Prior to joining the Elevate Hearing, Winnie worked in Development at an independent school for four years where she helped organize fundraisers, plan events, and provide tours to potential students and their families. Her calm and easy-going demeanour makes her a great addition to our team.


Winnie is proud to be part of the Elevate Hearing team and she looks forward to helping you.
